LAS VEGAS — It’s being called a drug epidemic.
Nevada has the fourth highest rate of prescription drug overdose deaths in the country, according to a study by Trust for America’s Health.
Between 2009 and 2011, there were more than 2,000 prescription drug overdose deaths in Nevada. A big change on the federal level to curb that will take effect in October.
