DUI checkpoints this Super Bowl weekend will start from 7pm – 1am near Town Square Shopping Center. On Super Bowl Sunday, the checkpoints will start from 6pm -1am and will be at areas known to have high traffic accidents and impaired drivers. In past years, Metro had DUI checkpoints at these locations on Super Bowl Sunday at: Decatur/Blue Diamond; Boulder Hwy near Boulder Station Casino; W. Buffalo/S. Charleston; Paradise Road behind the Strip. Remember that they have to announce the location of the checkpoint prior to setting up the checkpoint. Be aware.
